The embossing folder and stencil set in this bundle can be used together or separately: the embossing folder yields a sublte but detailed background which can easily be brought to colourful life with the stencils (which could also be used alone for a less dimensional image).
Together they result in a stunning image of great detail which, really, is a card in and of itself (just add a sentiment). But I have also found it very useful to build a scene using any pond-type die cuts (frod, boat, heron...) from my stash.

This looks really lovely on a card. You can't go wrong as the embossing folder and stencils do almost all of the work for you. Just make sure your placement is as accurate as possible to avoid unsightly, white spaces, and don't press to hard with your blending brush as the colour could bleed under the stencil a little.
