I like these because if you don’t press too hard, you can get a nice crisp heat embossed image. Well done Altenew!

I have been going back and forth about these black background sentiments...but now that I have them ... I love them! The sentiment encased in black just makes them pop! Since these are what I called solid style stamps, I just condition them by using conditioning eraser, or just rub my finger over it. After conditioning them they work wonderfully. I have been adding these sentiments to my duoprinting w/chlorophyll cards lately, and everyone that I have sent or gifted these cards loves them.

I read all of the negative reviews and was super hesitant to give this stamp set a try, but I'm glad that I jumped in and ordered it. I took the advice of using a stamping platform and that has worked wonders. Having a juicy ink pad (stampin' up) also makes it easier to transfer the color in 2 tries versus my altenew ink pads which always require multiple (3x or more) tries to get enough coverage for a whole stamp from day 1.

These stamps were a big disappointment. Even after conditioning the stamps getting a crisp, dark image was not possible for me. I would not recommend them.

What I like most about this set is being able to add a bold sentiment to my cards that coordinates and highlights colors that I have used for images and backgrounds.
