SOOO different from the watercolor pencils I've gotten before. Brilliant colors, easy blending and fun to use in so many different ways. Draw with the pencils and then add water, add water to the pencils and then brush, wet the pencil and draw, add depth and intensity by glazing with a second coat wet or dry or even add detail with the dry pencil. I can even correct all my mistakes! (Just kidding, I cannot do that, but it still is pretty forgiving. This is where a white pencil may have come in handy, though.) And brilliantly packaged so I can take them anywhere. Way better than expected, thanks!
I'm so in love with this set!! They are soft to color and dilute wonderfully with water. One of them came broken and I ask if it can be replaced. For my surprise, they just send me a whole new set. I really enjoyed playing with these pencils. I have tried other watercolor pencils in the past, but these are the best ones I have tried. These pencils had a smooth application, and I appreciated being able to pick up some color with a paint brush directly from the pencil. The free class walking us through some tips and tricks with the pencils was also super beneficial. This will be my go-to medium to take with me on trips as they are easily packed up and can't make a huge mess.
