Altenew's Key-Hole System features cleverly designed shapes, including a keyhole, an arrow, and an isosceles triangle, with the potential for additional shapes in the future. These shapes serve as foolproof guides for super-easy layering. Simply line up the small die-cut shapes, and you're good to go! They also make it a breeze for you to identify which die-cuts belong together. For instance, in a set with two layering images, all layers for one image will feature the keyhole cutout, while the other image's layers will display the arrow cutout. You'll always know the correct orientation because these cutouts align in only one way.
But we didn't stop there! To make layering even simpler, we've debossed numbers onto the die-cuts. The die-cut labeled with number 1 will be your base layer, and you'll stack subsequent layers in numerical order. This set is so much fun to play with! I love the gorgeous embossed flowers and leaves, and the stencils make coloring super easy. The cute little bird die-cuts are the perfect finishing touch for any paper crafting projects.
This set was absolutely amazing to work with.....so much versatility as you can use the background stamp all by itself, or as I did, where I sectioned parts of it off in order to get the look I was going for. The bird houses were so much fun and added texture to my "wood panels" by using the wood press plates. Chef's kiss
This is a truly beautiful set, with products that coordinate seamlessly to inspire a wide range of creative projects. The solid stamp included in the kit is particularly versatile, enabling crafters to achieve many different effects. Suggestion: The bird’s eye, claws and beak, is quite small and fiddly to handle after die-cutting. A helpful tip for users is to use Press a Seal to pick up all the die-cuts at once, making the process of adhering them much easier and more efficient.
A versatile CYL kit. Each elemt of the kit can be used individually, as well as paired with one another.. With one kit alone, one can craft many cards. I love that about this kit! The bird are adorable!
I love that this solid stamp can work as a background or a night scene with beautiful blending behind it. I don't have many solid scene stamps like this.
