This unique and clever die set celebrates the art of paper weaving in a modern way
Cut the main die twice, arrange cut-outs perpendicular to one another, and simply weave the strips together! The resulting heart will be the perfect focal point on your next project. For a more ornate look, use the decorative die to cut a stunning design into your woven heart, or use it on its own for endless possibilities!
I am beyond pleased with die set. The woven heart turned out so nice. Can't wait to try other color combos.

Woven Heart Die set
It is so adorable, but it Is also very exacting. ***Warning***
Trying to weave it & not have bend lines and keep it from disassembling it-self.
I would have given this a 5 if there was a video showing how to weave it. I think I worked an hour on it, not quite perfect but as good as I could get it. I used both reverse tweezers & regular tweezers to pull it thru and to hold what I had in place stay in place. If you get frustrated easy —-this die is NOT for you.
If you look close at my photo the bottom of the heart, the weave is a little short. The backside is the same. I figure, I‘ll add a sentiment or something to kind of cover it up.

Woven heart
I've made these woven hearts from a paper pattern I had years ago and always loved the Scandinavian look. So, I was thrilled to get the die and have it be the perfect size for cards. Yes, it does take some working with but it gets easier with practice. Thinner paper works better. I also iron the finished heart to flatten out any curls in it. I just love it!!!

Woven Heart Die Set
This set was great to have to make the woven hearts. I've made a few dozen using various papers. :-) I used to cut paper to make woven heart baskets when I lived in Denmark. So, by folding the paper in half & moving the die a little off the edge I also was able to use this die to make a mini basket, too.

Don’t give up
This die set makes an unusual embellishment for a card and worth the patience. When I first gave it a try, I used heavy card stock. The paper always ended up being bent or ripped. I cut out many pieces to practice on. That’s when I discovered lightweight paper worked better! And practice, practice, practice. The strips were trimmed at the end. I was not going to give up and I’m glad I didn’t.
