I ordered this pair for the waves, which are gorgeous, but found that the other one-sided design to be even more gorgeous! Just be sure to dampen your paper with a baby wipe before running through to emboss.

These embossing folders are so versatile and create such beautiful textures, they are absolutely perfect for backgrounds!

The best part of these 3D embossing folders is the fun technique I discovered while playing with them. They work for making a layer on slimline cards! At the top of the folder where it folds in half there is a cut out slot. What I did was cut a slimline layer ... place the layer in the folder normally then slide the layer through the cut out slot ... run the layer through die machine again and this continues the design on the full length of the slimline layer!!! hats off to the designers of these 3D embossing folders.

I used the ribbon waves embossing folder to make a land and sky background, but will also use for water and sky background. Love it! Will use the swirl motif as a side or middle embellishment for my cards.

These are terrific embossing folders. The ribbon waves is super for making fish cards!!! I love it.
