I'm very excited to use these cubes to take the guess work out of layering. They work very well. If you have issues with them beading a little just lightly tap with a finger dauber to even the coverage before stamping. I like the design of the packaging, they are a little hard to open, but that makes me feel like it will help prevent them from drying out. A few comments on colors: I wish they had included a set of true greens, like a Kelly green instead of the mixed color set. And if being picky: some colors are hard to tell apart they are so similar. espresso/dark chocolate, morning gray/silver stone, rose quartz/pink diamond, citrus burst/mango smoothie.
I knew I wouldn't be able to decide between all of the wonderful colors in Altenew's ink offering, so I opted to go with the Mini's. There have only been a handful of times when I wish I had the full size pad when stamping a large image, but using a stamp positioner means I can quickly, easily and accurately restamp my image if I miss a spot here or there when using the minis. Overall, I would happily recommend these. Additionally, I also recommend making a swatch book. I know I reach for these inks far more often because I'm able to match up a color to my project perfectly every time. Well worth the time it takes to make the swatch book.
I am not sure what took me so long to purchase these, but I should have done it sooner! I purchased the mini cubes to be able to save space, as my crafting area is limited. But now all I want to do is get the full die ink pads, in every color. The colors themselves are bright, vivid, and crisp. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
I love the ink and how it stamps beautiful on the paper. It is great that they come with 4 gradient of the same color. So you can blend them nicely or do beautiful layering.
Love all the colors I am able to use! Sometimes they bead up a little on the stamp, but overall they are beautiful.
