I am very excited to own this collection of inkpads. Each color is different, which is hard to do for 138 colors. The oval design is nice, and the cover clicks into the base for a larger grip area. The order took a while to come, and there were some minor errors with my order, BUT, the Altenew Customer Service Team were very nice and fixed it fast. I have done the swatches so far and look forward to playing around with layering. Thank you, Altenew!

I have worked with many brands of ink and mostly in cube size for the past 25+years. Most of them all felt as opposed to sponge bases. I find I do not like the sponge based ink pads much and I finally decided it was time and took the plunge. Not only am I going with one company for all my basic dye inks, but I chose the grown up full size pads. lol After 25 years of stamping I think I deserve it.
First Impression, I love how they fit in my hands with the shape and size both and the cut out finger grips. The lid clicks and fit snugly so I don't need to worry about it just falling off. I wondered about that before buying them.
I also wanted these and love the fact that they pretty much cover every possible color I could want. I am definitely not limited with 138 colors to choose from. I was greatly appreciative that that each set comes with color swatches already done for me that I plan on putting in a business card binder so I can refer to them over and over. I am so excited to continue my stamping ventures with my beautiful new pads and using these for the next 25 years.
