Our Artist Markers are alcohol-based, allowing you to beautifully blend colors to any stamped images. Our wide range of stamps is perfect for these markers. You can also easily pair them with our Crisp Dye Inks to take your coloring to the next level! The colors in this set are designed to be as close as possible to our existing ink colors, so you can take the color guessing game out of the way when coloring.
- Alcohol Based
- Brush tip and a fine tip on each end
- Ergonomically designed for easy gripping
I initially tried the three-box set that came with a stamp set to try them out. I was so pleased with them, I decided to purchase this 60 color set. Not only did I get them at a great price point, but the set had many beautiful colors. They blended effortlessly and smoothly. It was actually fun coloring my stamped images! I look forward to trying other colors.
These markers blend pretty darn well. They are not as smooth in blending as other markers on the market, but also not as high in price. Good value for the price, especially when they are on sale.
I received these markers as a Christmas gift from my husband. I have used several other brands of alcohol markers and feel that the Altenew Artist Markers are wonderful! They blend beautifully! I also appreciate the two different tips available and have used both in my card-making. I don't feel that the color indicators on the lids are as accurate as they could be. Many of the "lighter shades" are much darker on paper than they appear to be on the marker ends. Making labeled color swatches is very helpful and time-saving in the long run. Another thing that would make these markers better would be for the box of every set to be labeled with the color names that came in that set. The later boxes are that way, but not the earlier sets. I sometimes forget which markers go back with which sets (and were therefore created to work together). But for coloring, they work amazingly well and I do love them!
Received my sets of altenew artist markers. There is a good range of colours and hues. It is taking some practice to learn to blend with a light touch but I'll get there. I also have a small number of copics and those colours fit in nicely with the altenew markers. I like the altenew marker tips better than the copics tips, the chisel ends on the copics are useless for my projects. I've put a thin strip of masking tape on the brush end cap so I can see/feel which end I need immediately.
I'm not a pro by any means, but I love these markers. They blend nicely. The brush tip is flexible, I believe slightly more than copic markers. I love that it has a bullet nib on one end (not the chisel end that I never use due to small graphics on cards). The color representation on the lid is accurate, which I appreciate. The barrel fits comfortably in my hand, but is big at first. I quickly got used to this and find it comfortable. Hoping for more to be released in the future!
