Our Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine is the compact and portable must-have tool for your craft room! It is designed to work with Altenew dies (sold separately) and other wafer-thin metal dies. It can be used to quickly and easily die-cut a variety of materials, including cardstock and Altenew specialty papers, and will help you add texture and dimension to your projects. I was hesitant about getting the mini die machine since I already owned a regular sized one. But I saw it being used in many videos from a sitting position- that’s what won me over. I started using it right away. The smaller crank handle is easy to turn, the suction cups underneath it keep it level & steady. It cuts cleanly. And I can enjoy my time crafting cards without constantly getting up & down out of my chair.
I was not sure if I really needed another die cutting machine. But when I saw the sale, I bought it. And I am not sorry. This little machine is so worth it. I have it on my work table and can sit and cut the many little pieces I need when building a scene or when using any of the many smaller dies I have. The suction feet keep it sturdy and it is a breeze to use. I have not had any trouble so far with the cutting plates bending. And I did buy an extra set of plates with the machine purchase because people mentioned they were out of stock a lot. I don’t know that’s true, but didn’t see a reason not to get them. Great purchase!!
I knew that I had to have a mini die cutting system so that I didn’t have to get up every time I needed to cut something. I just didn’t know how much I would love the ease of having it so compact and readily available at arm’s length. Great gift for a beginner crafter, too. Don’t forget to order more cutting plates and the metal shim!
I like having a simple and small die cut machine. I have to use a shim to cut a somewhat busy die (ornament shaped with inlaid cuts.) I’d like to see the price come down a bit and have a self healing cutting plate.
I looked at all other available mini die cutting machines, of which I think there only 3 or 4, and I kept ending up at this one. Given I can't touch and try out any of the machines I based my decision on the looks of the machine and the company reputation for quality ... cue Tina Turner music ... "your simply the best, better than all the rest ...". Thank you AlteNew for providing this little device. It cuts so well and does it so smoothly. With my big device I have to stand up and crank with all my might, like I'm grinding flour or something - ugh, but this little machine just smoothly cuts the dies without a Herculean effort. Wow. The price is on par with other devices and the larger die cutting machines which all seem to be well over $100 USD.
