After I read that you have to press down for the glue to come out - it was wonderful. It is PERFECT for small pieces!
Once I got used to the idea that the pen tip had to be depressed for the glue to flow, it worked really well for me. Sometimes, I would dispense the glue on a thicker piece of a die cut and was able to touch the tip to the very fine tip of a word die cut to get it to adhere to the paper but not overrun on to the rest of the card front. Two sides of the pen are flattened which kept it from rolling away when put down.

I had the opportunity to try this adhesive set with several others that I had purchased over time. The Altenew adhesive beats them all; easy to handle, sturdy, easy to peel.
I have finally found the perfect "sticky" paper. I have bought so many brands and types of "sticky" paper over the years, hoping to find one that I can really work with. I have severe arthritis and often have trouble either removing the backing or managing the sticky side. This paper solves all those problems for me. The backing has a pattern and the sticky paper has enough weight (but not too much) that I have no trouble controlling it.

Caution
For years I used plain old Scotch double stick tape because I never knew whose tape to try. Then I found Altnews glue tape! So easy to use and what I really love about it is that you can move the piece you are sticking down as long as you don't press it down too hard to begin with. Then after a couple of adjustments to make sure your piece is centered, you press it down harder. And ...Voilla! You have a perfectly centered piece on top of another piece of paper. This tape is also really good on dies that have real skinny lines. Just roll the tape on your piece, which you have placed on scrap paper. Easier then bottled glue and sticks fine. I don't know what I will do if they ever quit making this hand held glue tape. You can't go wrong with this product. :-)
The glue tape goes on smoothly, more than other tape runners because it is dots of glue instead of a solid strip. I was concerned how easily I could lift my panel to reposition it. You have time to reposition your piece but the next day when I tested it, the panel wouldn't lift from the card base. I am very pleased with it.
I love this glue. I just wish that the inserts were refillable so I did not have to keep buying and throwing it away. Other than that, it works well and allows me to reposition for a short time if I make a mistake. Craft room must have!
I am very pleased with this glue tape. I had been using a similar style tape and would get so frustrated with it because moving it ever so slightly the wrong way would cause it to malfunction. This new tape has worked perfectly every time. I read every review before purchasing and I am happy to say that this product lives up to the excellent reviews.
